Innovation Challenge Launch

The India-Sweden Memorandum on Health has begun its second decade of cooperation in 2020. Under this cooperation, an India-Sweden Healthcare Innovation Centre has been set up through a Memorandum of Intent signed with AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Jodhpur and the Swedish Trade Commissioner's office to drive healthcare innovation between the two countries. The centre will aim to foster innovative solutions and transformations in healthcare eco-systems through protocols and processes, business models, technologies and skilling. 

 

The innovation challenge will be opened to Innovators that can provide solutions towards transforming the healthcare sector in India.

Hon. Secreatory Mr. Rajesh Bhushan, Ministry of Health and Family welfare has arrived as the chief guest and Prof. Balaram Bharagava, Secreatory, DG, ICMR, Ministry of Health as special guest for the virtual launch event conducted on August 11th.

All the three collaborators were persent at the virtual launch event represented by Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Sanjeev Misra, Director AIIMS Jodhpur, Anders Wickberg, Swedish Trade Commissioner to India. 

The launch event is also graced by Niclas Jacobson, Deputy DG & Head of Division for EU & International Affair, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Government of Sweden, Mr, Gautam Bhattacharyya, Chargé d’Affaires & Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi, Mr. Deepak Bagla, MD & CEO, Invest India, Mr. R Ramanan, Mission Director, AIM, Mr. Sanjeev Malhotra, CEO, NASSCOM Centre of Excellence.
